Launching a Fashion Show at the HBCU Preparatory Schools

CLEVELAND, OHIO – The HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Preparatory School showcased a fashion show to highlight today’s new designers and business owners.  The school will provide scholarships with the funds.

Every year Cool, Smooth & Jazzy presents a celebrity hair & fashion show with Renowned Event Coordinator Tonda Gant  in which partial proceeds from the show as well as company donations are given to a chosen organization.” Tony Owens

 

The 16th annual Celebrity Benefit & Hair Show will feature hair fashions by local salons and barber shops. Clothing fashions will be provided by local, national designers, boutiques, and retail stores.

Celebrities who are scheduled to appear to support this event are: Wayne Dawson, Kenny Crumpton,  Todd Meany, Angelica Campos, Melissa Reid, Enrique Correra, Gabe Spiegel, Elisa Amigo and Melissa Mack – Fox 8 News; Harry Boomer – 19 Action News; Danita Harris, Macie Jepson, Michael Baldwin, and Mike Dunston – News Channel 5; Mark Ribbons – WAVE 107.3FM; Haz Matthews  and Sam Sylk– WZAK 93.1FM; Kevin “Chill” Heard – Call & Post; Mark Lyon – Jay Honda; Coach Ted Ginn, Sr. – Ginn Academy ; and Dr. Malcolm Walters, Jr .

Live entertainment will be provided prior to the show.

Majority of the proceeds from the benefit will support HBCU Preparatory Schools Network. HBCU Preparatory Schools Network is based on the success of over 175 years of tradition and success with post-secondary system of education with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This national model for urban education will establish a successful pipeline of students who are academically prepared to enroll in, graduate college and lead our society.
