CLEVELAND, Ohio — Don’t let the name fool you. “Dia de Muertos,” or “Day of the Dead,” is a celebration. It’s a popular holiday in many Latin American countries that honors the memory of those who have died. Cleveland’s Artistas Latinos Unidos has partnered with the Cleveland Public Theatre for the 11th annual event this Saturday.
To go back home and meet up with your colleagues and discuss business, politics and the future learned that we’ve come along way. In these discussions we also dialogue about incidences, people, places and things. We’ve learned that debate is perfect. We agreed, agreed to disagree, and also forged better understanding of one another. We learned at 25 years of friendship holds true today as it did yesterday. These bonds that we created as kids now man won’t be broken and/or won’t be tested because were brothers. We agreed on assisting one another in our endeavors in addition to our children and godchildren we are looking forward towards the future.
This men’s retreat was made perfect through the eyes of God for we rejoiced by cooking out and toasting our friendship.
