Fashion from the Love of Painting

Greetings fashion enthusiasts,

I am Georgio Sabino III, a fashion designer who also dabbles in textile design and painting. My love for art and fashion has led me to create designs that blend the two worlds together, resulting in unique and stunning pieces that showcase my bold use of colors and flashy patterns.

I draw inspiration from nature, and you can see this reflected in my work as I often include dragonflies, butterflies, and hummingbirds in my designs. By bringing the natural world into the fashion world, I aim to create a depth that is unseen in traditional fashion.

In addition to my textiles, I also create paintings that are showcased in art galleries. These pieces serve as a source of inspiration for my textile designs, and I find that the two mediums work hand in hand to create a cohesive and impactful collection.

To further enhance the experience of my fashion shows and art exhibits, I have introduced augmented reality (AR) technology to create immersive and interactive displays. By doing so, I hope to blur the line between the art world and the fashion world and offer a truly unique and memorable experience for my audience.

Recently, I flew to Paris to photograph my latest couture wardrobe, and I must say, fashion week was in full bloom in and around the city. I am excited to share my latest designs with the world and to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the intersection of art and fashion.

Thank you for your continued support and for joining me on this exciting journey.

Sincerely,

Georgio Sabino III

Rewarding… Said the Artist @GS3

As an artist in today’s world, I find creating life through art to be the most rewarding aspect of my work. From expressing my imagination, co-creating with fellow artists, to sharing my body of work online and in galleries, every step of this journey has been incredibly fulfilling.

As a painter, I have had the privilege of having one-man art shows and selling my works of art. Seeing my creations in galleries, homes, or corporate offices has been a truly fulfilling experience. Additionally, teaching art to K-12 or college students has been a source of joy for me, as I am able to inspire creativity and provide valuable information to the next generation of artists. As an educator, I have been fortunate enough to see my students’ work grace the auction house of Christie’s in New York City or watch my college students win competitions in the city.

Moreover, these experiences keep driving me into spaces that feel completely surreal. I have also found reward in the technological aspect of art. Being patent-pending for a tech innovation and making it into the MIT Solve Tech accelerator program that I created has been a unique accomplishment. It has allowed me to push the boundaries of traditional art and create immersive experiences for viewers (coming soon). I find it extremely satisfying to think about the inner workings of an idea and bring it to life.

As a photographer, I have had the opportunity to photograph major events and people, including The White House twice. It’s wild to be seen or known as a professional photographer as an artist who never thought of themselves as a photographer. But I have covered Annie Leibowitz, Synthia St James, LeBron James, and many more.

Furthermore, as a fashion designer, seeing gorgeous models wearing my clothing on runways and being photographed in the streets of Paris has been so thrilling and mind-blowing. Listening to myself say that these are my fabric designs and garments, and I am photographing my own work in Paris, is a dream come true. Accomplishments are so rewarding when you set out to do something and finish it. It’s been a long journey, but being an artist in today’s world has allowed me to pursue my passions and achieve my goals, and I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have come my way.

Artist’s (Paris) in the Spring Time

Over a two day period Georgio Sabino III (GS3), recently had the opportunity to spend time in Paris with renowned artist Aleksandra Vandenhove, known for her artistic creations from vegetable papers, and Iga Vandenhove, who often uses sound and visual polysemy in her work.

During their time together, GS3 was able to connect with the two artists and two models for his work (Ines and Iga Vandenhove) But he learn more about their work and creative processes. He found their work to be inspiring and was impressed by their ability to capture the beauty and complexity of the world around them.

In addition to exploring the world of art, the three also spent time enjoying the culinary delights of Paris. They visited a variety of restaurants, including Cafe Leffe, Cafe Joyeux, and the Gigolo Italian restaurant, where they sampled delicious food and drinks. They also visited Fauchon for expensive drinks and desserts, Parvis du Sacre-couer, Montmartre to see the Dali gallery, Statue de Marceille, and Place Saint Michel.

One highlight of their culinary adventures was their visit to Cafe Marly at the Louvre, where they enjoyed a meal with a stunning view of the Louvre Pyramid. They also visited Musee de l’illusion, where they explored a world of visual and sensory illusions.

Their culinary journey culminated in a visit to the renowned French restaurant, Vaudeville, where they were served a delicious three-course meal with dessert. The food was so delicious that it left a lasting impression on GS3.

As they traveled around Paris together, GS3 found that he was creating a beautiful friendship with Aleksandra’s family. He was inspired by their creativity and passion for their work, knowledge and felt grateful for the opportunity to connect with them on a personal level.

GS3’s time in Paris was a memorable and inspiring experience, filled with art, culture, and culinary delights. Through his travels and connections, he continues to explore new horizons in the world of art and fashion, and create lasting friendships along the way.

Paris, Art & Fashion … Life Long Dream has Come True

Georgio Sabino III (GS3), recently visited Paris for an inspiring trip filled with art, history, and cultural immersion. He visited many landmarks and museums, including the Van Gogh House, the Chateau de Chantilly, and the Pompidou Center. Along with experiencing Paris’s rich history and culture, GS3 also showcased his artistic vision through his fashion clothing brand.

Next, GS3 visited the Pompidou Center, a museum named after a president and known for its industrial aesthetic and impressive collection of art. GS3 watched two documentaries by Iga and Aleksandra Vandenhove, which provided a deeper understanding of the art and culture of Paris.

One of GS3’s second stops was with Luk Vandenhove at the Van Gogh House (Auberge Ravoux), where he explored the house and studio of the famous painter Vincent van Gogh. Afterward, Luk and GS3 stopped downstairs at the café, where he enjoyed a fabulous meal (Meat and Cheese plate) with delicious (2014 Crozes-Hermitage) wine and sketched “The Church at Auvers” that van Gogh famously painted.

GS3 then visited the Chateau de Chantilly, where he marveled at the castle’s elegant architecture and lush gardens. The castle was a reminder of France’s rich history and cultural legacy, and GS3 found inspiration in the space. Luk played the harp while in the castle. They both had the delicious Gaufres Maison a true taste of Paris.

During his visit, GS3 also fulfilled a lifelong dream of following in the footsteps of famous artists Matisse, Picasso, Josephine Baker and James Baldwin by walking the streets of Paris. As He walked the cobble streets he imaged the sounds, smells and the conversations artist were having. This experience allowed him to immerse himself in the city’s artistic and cultural atmosphere and find inspiration for his future work.

On Monday, Ines and Iga Vandenhove will be modeled GS3’s new fashion designs and textiles. Other artist-models will follow, showcasing the intersection of art and fashion that GS3 has created.

Overall, Sabino’s arrival to Paris is going fully as expected and will be an unforgettable experience with friends who have become family, filled with inspiration, creativity, and cultural immersion. Through his work and his travels, GS3 continues to push (with extreme energy) boundaries and explore new horizons in the world of art and fashion.

Art in Embassies, U.S. Department of State Featuring Georgio Sabino III

Artistic Jungle: Green Pastures

As the artist behind the works on these walls, I strive to capture the beauty of nature and the reality of life and death in my pieces. The Butterflies and Dragonflies II collection explores the jungle that exists all around us, with color and shape conveying both the vibrancy of life and the inevitability of death. My latest project takes this one step further, creating interactive 2D and 3D silk dresses that are brought to life through AR technology. By using digital mixed media with photographs and paintings, I hope to provide viewers with a 3D virtual experience that showcases the wonder and magic of the natural world. Whether through depictions of hummingbirds or other living creatures, my goal is to inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around us. And with the honor of showcasing my work at the Art in Embassies program, I hope to bring that message to a wider audience than ever before.
