Artist Statement for Artistic Jungle Series: Justice in Nature Artist Spotlight:Georgio Sabino III Artistic Jungle: Columbus Metropolitan Library Art Exhibit My work speaks about society and nature. They are intertwinedfrom a social economic side to being interrelated to my “ArtisticJungle” series. My works of art explore life and death with emphasis onvibrancy of life by using color, shape and imagination. Searching for dramatic lines and tracing vibrant colorsdepicting strong contrast enriches Georgio’s artwork. “A sense of completenessis achieved by paying attention to symmetry and balance,” Sabino shares. “Ienjoy creating art that stimulates the imagination and challenges theintellect, propelling the viewer towards celestial heights where they canexplore, discover and uncover their polyrhythmic identities through my work.” These two-dimensional works of arthave an added component augmented reality (AR). The work is colorful andcreates a scene that I call an “artistic jungle” using photographyand splashes of paint to blend the composition In this body of work, the Artistic Jungleexplores the identity of the most incredible environments, which contains amagnificent ecosystem with a rich biodiversity.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library is proud to announce an upcoming art exhibit featuring the works of talented artist Georgio Sabino III (@GS3). On March 25th, the library will host the opening of this exciting display, showcasing a collection of stunning and intricate pieces that delve into the beauty and mystery of the Artistic Jungle Series.

Georgio Sabino III is a renowned artist who has made a name for himself with his unique approach to capturing the essence of the nature through his art. He brings a fresh perspective to a classic subject, imbuing his work with a sense of wonder and awe that is both captivating and inspiring.

The art exhibit at the Columbus Metropolitan Library will feature a piece from Georgio Sabino III, each one showcasing his exceptional skills and deep appreciation for the natural world. From intricate drawings and paintings to sculptures and installations, visitors to the exhibit will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the nature series like never before.

Summa Health’s commitment to surround and connect patients, their families, visitors and caregivers with the healing power of the arts is embodied in the Summa Art Gallery, a 1,500-square-foot celebration of local artists that is open on the Akron Campus, subject to current visitation guidelines. Artist-to-watch Georgio Sabino III

The gallery opened in March 2020 and features quarterly exhibitions. 

The gallery is located near Starbucks and the Gift Shop of the Women’s Board of Summa Health. Visitors to the gallery enter at the main entrance at 141 North Forge Street.

Georgio Sabino III is the chief visionary, strategist, and an advocate for civic engagement, education, and mentoring in the arts. In 1999, GS3 graduated from Kent State University (BA).  Also earned an M.A. in Art Education from Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Institute of Art in 2009. A member of the Ohio Art Education Association and various other organizations. As an experienced artist, businessman, and educator for the professional arts and business community.  GS3 fosters real life connections with business pioneers to build and develop student talent and works of art.  With more than 25 years’ of business ownership his perspective has provided quality leadership, developed student’s voices in the community and participates in giving back in the neighborhood.  He has been involved wholeheartedly to advance the mental, physical well-rounded being for customers, clients and students, balanced with cultural sensitivity and an empathetic understanding of buying patterns and varied learning styles.
